Over the past 20 years, she has had the privilege of working with children in a wide range of roles, including teacher, education director, preschool director, enrichment program director, cheer coach, mentor, children’s church coordinator, and even children’s birthday party entertainer. Every role has centered on helping kids—and the staff who support them—grow, learn, and build confidence in who they are.
Throughout her career, she has opened new program locations, built and mentored strong teams, and helped design in-house preschool curricula focused on creativity, confidence, and connection. She believes deeply that learning should engage all the senses, and that food is one of the most powerful tools to do just that.
Food brings people together, sparks curiosity, and builds confidence—especially for kids. As a leader at Junior Chefs Kitchen, she blends her background in education, program development, theater, and event planning with culinary creativity to help young chefs explore new flavors, try new skills, and discover what they’re capable of. What drives her most is witnessing that moment when a child realizes, “I did it.”
