At Junior Chefs Kitchen, kids ages 2–18 enjoy 1-hour hands-on cooking classes that build real culinary skills and nutrition knowledge through our tiered curriculum. Like belts in martial arts, students progress through stages—from Tiny Tastemakers to Teen Taste Kitchen—each focused on specific techniques, food literacy, and creative exploration.
Each semester builds week by week and ends with Restaurant Night, where students present their dishes to friends, family, and local “celebrity” judges.
We believe all kids should have access to essential nutrition education. Our inclusive, non-restrictive approach highlights the benefits of whole foods (including meat, fish, poultry—and yes, sweets!) while nurturing confidence, independence, and lifelong healthy habits. We accommodate allergies and dietary needs so every child feels welcome in our kitchen.

Feel free to peruse our schedule and drop in for a class. Registration ends 12 hours prior to the start of class to be mindful of food prep & reduce subsequent waste. Please note we may not be able to fully accommodate allergies without advance notice. Ensure this is updated in your class registration.
Our Fall Recipes will explore the regions of Mexico, Japan and Italy and are still in production. Check back soon for specifics! Please note we do cook with meat/fish/poultry and are happy to work with any dietary restrictions or allergies. We are a peanut-free facility.
Get ready for a delicious grand finale! During the final week of the semester (week of December 15th, exact date TBD), your child will step into the spotlight at our Restaurant Night Celebration. This special culminating class gives every junior chef the chance to showcase the skills, creativity, and culinary growth they’ve achieved throughout the session.
They’ll present their dish to our Junior Chef panel—featuring their instructor, parents & local "celebrity" chef judges!
