Brianna Jones

Director of Operations

Brianna’s love for food and cooking began at an early age, observing her mother and grandmothers in the kitchen working from handwritten recipes passed down from generations before. In middle school, she found herself rushing home after school each day to watch Ina Garten’s television show, Barefoot Contessa, on Food Network. After watching, she would call one of her parents with a grocery list of items to bring home to prepare dinner or dessert for the family that evening.

As a trained chef, she received her formal culinary education at Kendall College in Chicago. She has a particular love for Italian cuisine, deepened by her time spent at a James Beard awarded Italian restaurant in the West Loop. She is also a certified Food Safety professional and trainer.

It is her belief that educating youth about cooking and nutrition can encourage a new normal of food habits to power a healthier and stronger society in the future. She is so excited about sharing her passion for food and cooking with children at Junior Chefs Kitchen!
